NI 43-101 Mineral Resource

Taranis conducts exploration to accurately define Mineral Resources, ensuring transparent and informed value creation for our stakeholders.
Thor epithermal NI 43-101 Mineral Resource
The existing Mineral Resource at Thor has been identified by over 240 drill holes and numerous trenches and underground sampling locations. Thor is a high-grade polymetallic deposit that is very close to surface. The graph below shows the approximate breakdown of the value of the Mineral Resource by commodity type. It does not include antimony, indium, rhodium or cadmium that are also known to be present in the deposit.

Exploration companies complete NI 43‑101 Mineral Resource Estimates to convert geological data into a regulated, independently verified statement of metal content. This provides credibility, unlocks financing, enables economic studies, and positions the project for development or acquisition. Investors—especially institutional ones—won’t fund a project without a compliant resource.
A Mineral Resource estimate:
  • De‑risks the project
  • Quantifies upside
  • Provides a basis for valuation For exploration companies, this is often the single biggest step in increasing market value.

NI 43‑101 uses standardized definitions (Inferred, Indicated, Measured). This lets analysts and investors compare Thor with peers on:
  • Grade
  • Tonnage
  • Metal content
  • Expansion potential

A compliant Mineral Resource is required before you can complete:
  • Preliminary Economic Assessments (PEA)
  • Pre‑Feasibility Studies (PFS)
  • Feasibility Studies (FS)

These studies determine whether a mine is economically viable. No resource → no economics → no path to development.
